In 2021, Fibreco commissioned the Terminal Enhancement Project which started a new chapter in the terminal’s history by expanding into the export of agricultural products.
The Terminal Enhancement Project created a state-of-the-art facility consisting of 15 cone bottom bins capable of holding 57,000mt, a new traveling Buhler Portaload Shiploader, and an enclosed rail-car dumper. Capable of handling a unit train in two shifts and shipping at 2000mt/hr, Fibreco is an important gateway of dry bulk materials including grains, pulses, and pellets.
